Rev. Ted Keen, Church Pastor
Rev. Ted Keen is an ordained pastor in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has served three churches in his thirteen years in ministry. Prior to being a pastor, Ted worked in the hotel and restaurant industry. He and his wife Julie live in Cleveland with their four children.
Dr. David George, Director of Music
Dr. David George directs our talented Chancel and Bell Choirs. Now retired, David taught music for over forty years with Truett McConnell College and the White County School System. He and his wife Judy live in Helen, Georgia.
Sharlene Kaye, Accompanist
Sharlene Kay accompanies the Chancel Choir, Youth Choir and the Children’s Choir. She is an accomplished pianist and works for Toccoa Falls College. She and her husband Tony live in Toccoa, Georgia.
Emily Allison, Music Director for Children & Youth
Emily Allison directs our Children and Youth Choirs. They provide special music during holidays and throughout the year. Emily is the Choral Director at East Hall Middle School. She and her husband Jake live with their two children in Toccoa, Georgia.
Sandy Bergin, Administrative Assistant
Sandy Bergin is the administrative assistant of Cleveland UMC. She is retired from Hewlett Packard Corporation. Now a loving grandmother, Sandy and her husband Dennis raised two boys in Cleveland and are still very active residents of the community.
Matt Runkle, Youth Director
Matt Runkle is the director of youth ministries at Cleveland UMC. Passionate about ministry, Matt has been a camp counselor in Georgia and Colorado. Matt, his parents and three siblings are long-time residents of Cleveland.
Nancy Galloway, Nursery Director
Nancy Galloway is the director of the church nursery at Cleveland UMC. She also works at Smithgall Woods State Park. Nancy raised her grown sons and daughter in White County and is a loving grandmother.
Rev. Leland Bagwell, Pastor Emeritus
Rev. Leland Bagwell served as senior pastor of Cleveland UMC from 1976 to 1982. He retired from ministry in 1989. Leland and his late wife Alice served six churches in his nearly twenty-eight years in active ministry. They retired to Cleveland, where Leland still lives and serves the church.
